5 RISING TORONTO GALLERIES JOIN FORCES FOR SURFACE, AN ALTERNATIVE ART FAIR & PARTY, SEPTEMBER 19 & 20 2015

Get to know five of Toronto’s best independent art galleries as they join forces for SURFACE, an exclusive alternative art fair and party at Toronto’s 99 Sudbury the weekend of September 19-20, 2015.

This newly launched event is a celebration of young contemporary visual talent in Toronto, collectively presented by The Black Cat Artspace, Creative Blueprint, Graven Feather, #Hashtag Gallery, and Project Gallery.

This unique collective initiative reveals a collaborative vision of the independent gallery movement.

With five of Toronto’s top new galleries under one roof, SURFACE features five unique series of curated works by emerging local artists. Every work selected for display will be available for sale.

At the opening night party for SURFACE on Saturday, September 19, visitors will experience a captivating site-specific art installation, live performances, and music.

The fair continues on Sunday, September 20, with the exhibition open to the public from 11am-6pm.
