MICHAEL DENESYK

Michael Anthony John Denesyk was born in Kinistino, Saskatchewan in 1962. Michael works predominately in the medium of painting, but also works with Conté, charcoal, graphite and ball point pens.

Michael studied at George Brown and completed courses in Illustration and Studio Life Drawing through Continuing Education Courses as well as a Portrait Drawing course through Toronto School of Art. His goal is to paint the parks of Toronto. The whole idea is to portray the natural beauty of Toronto Parks with their natural beauty, but also to raise an awareness of how the urban green space is not too far away from city dwellers door steps. This is an ongoing project.

He is represented by #Hashtag Gallery in Toronto, Ontario. He lives and works in Toronto, Ontario.
