“My work explores the relationship between balance and chaos with a world of characters who constantly reappear in my drawings. This is a reflection of my life as a teenage girl and all the different connections I make as I grow up. Even though my art consists of many overlapping images, I think the clean lines keep the chaos at bay. I like that every time you look at my drawings, you find something new. I use many different materials, but I love markers the most because they are so reliable.”

This is Grier’s first solo show with the gallery.
